Our Story
Our Why
Wingmom was founded by Meg Hurst and Kate Maxwell in 2017. Although Meg left Wingmom in 2019, Meg and Kate are still best friends and the spirit of their friendship is still reflected in Wingmom today.
It all started when Kate lost her fiancé in the line of duty during a fire in 2016; Kate was devastated. Losing her partner changed who she was and the things she viewed as important. Kate found herself wondering about her future and searching for her next steps. She was grateful to be surrounded by a group of women who supported her and she knew she wanted to help others as she had been helped during her time of need. When she got back on her feet, she was given a purpose with the help of Wingmom co-founder Meg Hurst and ultimately Wingmom was born. As Wingmom grew, Kate knew what her calling was and vowed to create an extensive support system for people in need of a little extra help.
Caitlin | General Manager
I have been with Wingmom Bucks County since August 2024. Previously, I worked in the fast-paced advertising industry before having children and becoming a stay-at-home mom. When it was time to find something just for me, I began looking for something with a flexible work schedule that wouldn’t compromise my time at home, and I found Wingmom. I love helping other clients like myself find organization and systems at home to make our lives a little less stressful. I’m thankful for the clients that allow us to be a part of their journey and look forward to continuing to grow with the company.
I am a Philadelphia native, who currently live in Holland, PA with my husband, Mike, and our 4 children, Jane, Caroline, Rosie and Jude. Outside of work, I love being outdoors, especially at the beach, and spending quality time with my family.
