FAQs

  • Once you have decided that Wingmom is a great fit for your family we will set you up with an intake interview to go over your specific needs and expectations. Then you will be paired with and introduced to your Wingmom to review pertinent details and the required duties of the service; upon request, this can take place during an in person meet and greet.

  • All of our staff have been screened through federal and state criminal background checks, including the national sex offender registry, and are trained in CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens, as well as ethics in caregiving for the aging population.

  • Wingmom is licensed and insured to provide companion level care which includes assisting our clients with the activities of daily living such as going to the bathroom and maneuvering around the house, companionship, assistance at doctor’s appointments or while running errands, and light housekeeping.

  • Yes. We at Wingmom pride ourselves on offering the most comprehensive care to our clients that we can, even during the late night and early morning hours. Provided that we have staff available during those hours, we will do everything possible to accommodate your request for nightly services.

  • "Light Tidying" is included and most often consists of wiping down counters, taking out trash and the use of disposable dusters and mop pads. Additional cleaning tasks would be scheduled as a Wingmom Cleaning Service.
